Thunderhill Raceway, arguably one of the finest short tracks in the south Tenneessee-north Alabama area, will be hosting the First Annual $10,000 To Win Late Model Shootout on October 24th and October 25th, 2008.

For those who have never been to this fine facility, Thunderhill is a three-eighths-mile clay oval located in Summertown, Tennessee, north of Lawrenceburg. Thunderhill features action-packed racing every Saturday night in the usual dirt racing divisions.

The action will be even hotter in October with the $10,000 to win Super Late Model Shootout on the 24th and 25th.

Twenty-four cars will take to the track for the 75-lap A-main. The total purse for this event is a whopping  $30,000 plus. The fastest qualifier will receive a $200 bonus. The race pays $400 to start and the lucky winner will take home $10,000.

Anybody who knows Thunderhill knows that they know how to do racing right. This big end-of-the-season $10,000 shootout proves once again that Thunderhill Raceway is one of the top tracks in the area.
