Crossville, TN (August 8th) - The Southern Regional Racing Series Presented By PPM made their second appearance of the year at Crossville Raceway on Friday night. With 28 super late models signed in and the track in good racing condition, the night was favorable for some of the best racing action seen all season at the track. In group qualifying, Randy Weaver, grabbed the Star Grafix Pole Award, with a 12.348 second lap. Crossville, TN's Brett Wyatt, and Raus, TN's Jay Brinkley, also led their groups, in qualifying.

Crossville, TN (August 1st) - Crossville Raceway was in action on Friday night, and while it seemed like a repeat of recent weeks in some classes, there were some suprises during the night. In Late Model action, it was Crossville's #95 Brandon Williams setting fast time with a lap of 14.080 to set on the pole. In the feature, Williams made it look easy, as he pulled away from the field for his sixth straight win and tenth overall win at the track. #95R Rick Williams was second, #25 Lynn Selby third, #3R Robert Edwards was fourth, and #66 Tony Nickles rounded out the top five.
