Anderson 100 to Wrap Up Sound and Speed Night in Anderson, SC
Fans who attend the American Speed Association Southeast Asphalt Tour event at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC) on August 9th are going to get there money’s worth. Not only will they get to see the stars of the Southeast Asphalt Tour, they will get all the speed and sound they could desire with the special events put on by the tour at Anderson Motor Speedway.
South Carolina band Retro Vertigo will perform at intermission. They will rock the fans with sounds and hits from the 80’s. In addition to the concert, there will also be an on track autograph session for the ASA Southeast Late Models prior to the race. Fans can get an up close look at the drivers and machines that will roar around Anderson for 100 laps of racing.
The action on the track will be hot also be hot prior to the main event as there will be a 30 lap Mini Stock Madness that pays $500 to win. The Legends cars will also battle for $300 to win. Rounding out the support divisions will be the Pro Challenge cars as they will battle for 50 laps (based on car count).
Saturday grandstand admission is $12 for adults and 12 and under is free. Pit admission in $30 on Saturday and $20 on Friday. 2008 ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour Order of events

10.00am Pit gate opens for late model teams
10.15am Tech opens for ASA SAT teams (Must go through Tech prior to competing in practice)
12.15pm ASASAT drivers meeting
12.30pm-2.30pm ASA SAT Practice
3.00 Pit gate opens for support divisions
2.45pm-4.45pm Tech opens for pre qualifying inspection (Failure to be through inspection by the 4.45 deadline will result in the loss of 1 lap during the qualifying session)
4.45pm-5.45pm support divisions practice
